David J. Lynch serves as the global economics correspondent for The Washington Post. With a career spanning over four decades, he has reported extensively on global economics, national security, and political economy. His professional journey includes roles as a Washington correspondent for the Financial Times, where he covered white-collar crime; cybersecurity editor for Politico; and a senior writer with Bloomberg News.
