Biography

Born on April 29, 1952, David Vaughan Icke is an English conspiracy theorist and author. In his early career, he was a semi-professional football goalkeeper until rheumatoid arthritis forced his retirement at age 21. He then transitioned into sports journalism and became a sports broadcaster for the BBC in 1981. His contract with the BBC was terminated in 1990 due to his vocal opposition to the poll tax.
