Biography

David Cho is an American journalist who serves as the Editor in Chief of CNBC, where he oversees both its digital and television operations. Prior to joining CNBC in August 2025, he was the Editor in Chief of Barron's and the business editor at The Washington Post. Cho's academic background includes a BA in English Language and Literature from Yale in 1995, following studies at the Juilliard School of Music.
