David H. Autor is an American economist, public policy scholar, and the Daniel (1972) and Gail Rubinfeld Professor of Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He also serves as co-director of the School Effectiveness and Inequality Initiative at MIT. His research primarily focuses on topics within labor economics.
