Biography

Dava J. Newman is an American aerospace engineer and the Apollo Program Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Engineering Systems at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She has been a faculty member in MIT's Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics and School of Engineering since 1993. Newman is also a member of the faculty at the Harvard–MIT Program in Health Sciences and Technology and a MacVicar Faculty Fellow.
