Biography

Darren Jones is a British politician and a member of the Labour Party, currently serving as Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister, and Minister for Intergovernmental Relations since September 2025. He has been the Member of Parliament for Bristol North West since 2017. Prior to his current roles, Jones served as Chief Secretary to the Treasury from July 2024 to September 2025 and as Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury from September 2023 to July 2024.
