Biography

James Darrell Duffie is the Dean Witter Distinguished Professor of Finance at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he has been on the finance faculty since 1984. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering Economic Systems from Stanford University in 1984, following a Master of Economics from the University of New England and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of New Brunswick.
