Darla Dee Moore, born on August 1, 1954, in Lake City, South Carolina, is an American investor and philanthropist. After graduating from the University of South Carolina with a BA in political science in 1975, she began her career in 1976 at the Republican National Committee. Moore later earned an MBA from George Washington University in 1981 and joined Chemical Bank's training program, where she became a managing director.
