Danny Townsend is an Australian sports administrator and businessman. He currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at SURJ Sports Investment.

Prior to his current role, Townsend served as the chief executive of the Australian Professional Leagues. His career also includes leadership positions such as Global Managing Director at Nielsen Sport and Global Chief Revenue Officer at Repucom.
