Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR), born in 1970, is a Black, Haitian-American composer, performer, violinist, and band-leader. He is also recognized as an educator, activist, and social entrepreneur. Roumain views composing as a collaborative process, working with artists, organizations, and communities to develop and frame ideas.
