Biography

Prof. Dr. Daniel Fiott currently serves as Head of the Defence and Statecraft Programme at the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (CSDS) of the Brussels School of Governance (BSoG-VUB).

Additionally, he is a Non-Resident Fellow at the Real Institute Elcano in Madrid, where his analysis focuses on defence industrial issues. He earned his PhD on European defence-industrial cooperation from VUB in 2017 and was educated at the University of Cambridge.
