Daniel Ziblatt is an American political scientist and the Eaton Professor of the Science of Government at Harvard University, a position he has held since 2018. He also serves as the Director of the Minda de Gunzburg Center at Harvard. Ziblatt earned his BA in German studies and politics from Pomona College and later completed his PhD in political science at UC Berkeley.
Ziblatt's research focuses on the conditions that can lead democracies to break down from within.
