Daniel R. Porterfield is an American nonprofit executive, academic administrator, government official, and author. He currently serves as the president and CEO of the Aspen Institute.
Prior to this role, Porterfield was the 15th president of Franklin & Marshall College and held positions as senior vice president for strategic development and an English professor at Georgetown University. He is also the author of the 2024 book, 'Mindset Matters: The Power of College to Activate Lifelong Growth'.
