Daniel James Moran (1888–1948) was a prominent American oil executive. He held senior officer positions with major oil companies including Texaco, Marland Oil, and Continental Oil. Moran is most notably recognized as the first President of Conoco, a role he assumed in 1928 after J.
P. Morgan gained control of Marland Oil Company.
