Biography

Dan Gardner is a Canadian author and academic with a background in journalism and public policy. He earned a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Master of Arts in history from York University.

Gardner's career includes working as a columnist and feature writer for the Ottawa Citizen. He served as the editor of Policy Options magazine from 2015 to 2016, after which he became a senior advisor in the office of the Prime Minister of Canada.
