Dan Cnossen is a decorated U.S. Navy SEAL veteran, a Paralympic athlete, and a professional speaker.
He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy, completing Basic Underwater Demolition / SEAL training in 2003.
Over six years, he was deployed multiple times to Iraq and Afghanistan, rising to officer-in-charge of an 18-man SEAL platoon. In 2009, during a mission in Afghanistan, he sustained injuries from an IED, leading to the loss of both legs.
