Dan Blumenthal serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Solutions LLC, a strategic consultancy. He is also the Director of Asian Studies at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), a public policy think tank where he focuses on U.S. foreign policy in Asia.

An expert in foreign, defense, and Asia policy, Mr. Blumenthal's work includes analysis of East Asia and US-China-Taiwan relations. He has authored a book and hundreds of essays and opinion pieces on Asia and China.
