Cynthia Cooper is the CEO of CooperGroup, a role she has held since 2004, where she serves as a keynote speaker, advisor, and advocate. Previously, she was the Vice President and Chief Audit Executive at MCI WorldCom from 1994 to 2004. In 2002, Cooper blew the whistle on fraud at WorldCom, which became the largest corporate fraud, bankruptcy, and civil settlement in corporate history. Her actions contributed to the passage of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
