C.S. Venkatakrishnan, known as “Venkat,” is the Group Chief Executive of Barclays, a position he has held since November 2021. He joined Barclays in 2016 as Chief Risk Officer, later becoming Head of Global Markets and Co-President of Barclays Bank PLC in 2020.
Venkat brings extensive experience in risk management and global markets to his leadership role.
