Colleen V. Chien is an Asian-American legal scholar and law professor at UC Berkeley School of Law. In her academic role, she is involved in teaching, mentoring, and conducting cross-disciplinary research.

Beyond her work at UC Berkeley, Professor Chien has held several distinguished positions within the U.S. government. She served as a Marian Croak Distinguished Scholar at the Uspto and as a Senior Counselor in the Office of General Counsel at the U.S. Department Of Commerce.
