Colin Lewes Hanks, born November 24, 1977, is an American actor and filmmaker. He is the son of actor Tom Hanks and producer and actress Samantha Lewes. Hanks attended Sacramento Country Day School, Chapman University, and Loyola Marymount University, though he left without earning a degree.
Hanks gained early recognition for his role as Alex Whitmann in the WB science fiction series Roswell from 1999 to 2001.
