Biography

Chetan Nayak is an Indian-American physicist and computer scientist recognized for his work in quantum computing. He currently holds the position of Technical Fellow for Quantum Hardware at Microsoft and is a distinguished engineer on the Microsoft Azure Quantum hardware team. Concurrently, he serves as a professor at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he has been a faculty member since 2007, specializing in condensed matter theory.
