Biography

Ciyong Zou holds the position of Deputy to the Director General and Managing Director of UNIDO. In this capacity, he also serves as the UNIDO Director General's Special Representative for the G77 and China.

He is responsible for leading a directorate that plays a key role in contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). His work involves supporting and advancing strategies for sustainable industrial development, particularly in the environment, energy, and SME sectors.
