Christopher D. Gundermann is a Fellow in the Economics Program and Scholl Chair in International Business at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). In this role, he provides advice and consultation on the rapidly evolving landscape of international trade and industrial strategy. He is also a doctoral candidate at Johns Hopkins SAIS, with an expected graduation in 2028.
Prior to his tenure at CSIS, Gundermann held several key policy positions within the U.S. government.
