Biography

Christine Jardine is a Scottish Liberal Democrat politician who has represented Edinburgh West as a Member of Parliament (MP) since her election in 2017. She has held significant spokesperson roles within the Liberal Democrats, including for Women and Equalities and Scotland from July 2022 to July 2025. Her previous responsibilities included serving as Spokesperson for the Cabinet Office, and for Treasury, Europe, Exiting the European Union, and International Trade from 2020 to 2022.
