John Chris Inglis is an American government official who served as the first National Cyber Director, a position he held from July 2021 until February 2023. President Joe Biden nominated Inglis for the role on April 12, 2021, and his nomination was confirmed by the Senate on June 17, 2021. Prior to this, Inglis was the Deputy Director of the National Security Agency from 2006 to 2014.
