Biography

Sir Christopher John Bryant is a British Labour politician who has served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Rhondda since 2001. He currently chairs the Committees on Standards and Privileges in the House of Commons.

Bryant has held various significant roles within government and the Shadow Cabinet. He served as Deputy Leader of the House of Commons from 2008 to 2009 and Under-Secretary of State for Europe and Asia from 2009 to 2010.
