Biography

Cheryl McKissack Daniel is an American civil engineer and businesswoman, serving as the President and CEO of McKissack & McKissack. This firm holds the distinction of being the oldest minority- and woman-owned design and construction firm in the United States, representing an unbroken legacy spanning more than five generations. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, she graduated from Howard University in 1983 with both a bachelor’s and a master's degree in civil engineering.
