She is the Executive Chef at LG cocina and is known for the restaurants she currently owns in airports across the United States. Garcia gained fame through appearances on multiple television shows, including competing on Top Chef Masters, and has put out her own cookbook and a line of kitchenware. She also works to help end childhood obesity through nutritional programs.
