Che-Chia Wei is a prominent Taiwanese business executive and electrical engineer, currently holding the positions of President, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSMC). He assumed the role of CEO in 2018 and succeeded Mark Liu as TSMC's chairman in June 2024. Wei has been a member of the TSMC board of directors since 2017.
Born in Lugu, Nantou County, Taiwan, in 1953, Wei pursued his higher education in electrical engineering.
