Chase Strangio is an American lawyer and transgender rights activist. He serves as the Co-Director of the LGBTQ & HIV Project and a Staff Attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). He is recognized for his significant contributions to transgender rights litigation and is the first known transgender person to make oral arguments before the Supreme Court of the United States.
Strangio grew up in a Jewish family outside of Boston, Massachusetts.
