Biography

Scott Chan serves as the Chief Investment Officer at CalSTRS, where he is responsible for overseeing the investment division. In this role, he leads a diverse team of more than 200 investment professionals and manages a wide range of investment strategies. Prior to his current position, Chan held the role of deputy CIO at CalSTRS, a position he has held since 2018.
