Chani Nicholas is a Canadian astrologer and activist, born in 1975 and raised in rural British Columbia. At age 13, she received training in Reiki. She moved to Los Angeles in 2004 at age 29 to pursue acting. After leaving the acting industry, she enrolled at the California Institute of Integral Studies, where she completed her bachelor's degree and developed an interest in social justice through studying feminists like bell hooks.
