Biography

Chandran Kukathas is a Malaysian-born Australian political theorist and academic. He currently holds the Lee Kong Chian Chair in Political Science at Singapore Management University, where he also serves as Dean of the School of Social Sciences.

Prior to his current role, Kukathas held the Chair of Political Theory in the Department of Government at the London School of Economics (LSE) from 2007 to 2019, also serving as Head of Department for four years.
