Celeste Saulo is the Secretary-General of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), having taken office on January 1, 2024. She is the first female and South American to hold this position. The WMO, often referred to as the UN Weather Agency, facilitates the free and unrestricted exchange of data, products, and services vital for decision-making, aiming to enhance global safety, security, and prosperity.
