He currently serves as Co-Founder & Chair at Poolbeg Pharma Plc, a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on cancer immunotherapy, and European Green Transition plc (EGT), which listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2024 and targets critical infrastructure services. Friel is also the Managing Director of Raglan Capital, a firm with offices in Dublin, London, and Vienna.
