Biography

Caspar Cornelis Johannes Veldkamp is a Dutch politician and former diplomat. Born on April 23, 1964, he currently serves as the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Schoof cabinet, a position he assumed in July 2024. Before his ministerial appointment, Veldkamp was a Member of the House of Representatives for the New Social Contract (NSC) party, elected in 2023, where his focus included foreign affairs and migration.
