Biography

Casey Michel serves as the Head of the Combating Kleptocracy Program at the Human Rights Foundation, a position he has held since 2023. In this role, he focuses on investigating how dictators and autocrats utilize loopholes, policies, and allies within democratic countries to maintain their power. His work also examines the broader implications of these activities for American democracy and global interests.

Michel is the author of two books published by St. Martin's Press.
