Carsten Breuer, born on December 1, 1964, is a German Army general who currently serves as the 17th Inspector General of the Bundeswehr. Prior to this appointment, Breuer held the position of the first commander of the Bundeswehr Homeland Defence Command. He is also recognized for his leadership as commander of the COVID-19 Task Force.
