Caroline Fisher is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Communication with the News and Media Research Centre at the University of Canberra. Her research interests include trust in news, news consumption trends, and political communication. She is also a co-author of the Digital News Report: Australia.

Her academic work draws on professional experience as a former ABC reporter/producer and ministerial media adviser.
