Dr. Carol Swain is an American political scientist and legal scholar, known for her academic career and extensive writings on American politics, race relations, and constitutional studies. She held early tenure as an associate professor of politics and public policy at Princeton University before becoming a full professor of political science and law at Vanderbilt University, where she taught from 1999 until her retirement in 2017.
