Biography

Carol Gilligan is an American philosopher and psychologist, recognized for her contributions to feminist ideology, ethical community, and ethical relationships. She is a Professor of Humanities and Applied Psychology at New York University and previously served as a visiting professor at the Centre for Gender Studies and Jesus College at the University of Cambridge until 2009.
