Carl Emmerson is an economist and Partner at London Economics, where he produces evidence to inform public policy. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences (FAcSS). With nearly three decades of experience in rigorous, independent policy analysis, he previously served for over twenty years as Deputy Director at the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS).
