Biography

Dr. Carah Ong Whaley is a nationally recognized expert on democracy and elections. She serves as a lecturer in the department of Politics at the University of Virginia and is co-chair for the Civic Engagement section of the American Political Science Association. In 2024, she co-convened an Elections Communications Hub for over 85 organizations, aiming to build confidence in elections and the public servants who administer them.
