Cal Newport is an American nonfiction author and a full-time professor of computer science at Georgetown University. He is widely recognized for his writings on attention management in the digital age, offering strategies for productive and meaningful work.
Newport completed his undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College in 2004 and earned a Ph.D. in computer science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2009.
