Biography

Byron Kotzamanis is a distinguished demographer and academic, holding a Docteur es Lettres et Sciences Humaines from the University of Paris X. His extensive career includes serving as a Researcher at the National Centre of Social Research from 1983 to 1996. He was an Associate Professor (1989-1999) and later a Professor (1999-2019) of Demography at the Department of Planning and Regional Development at the University of Thessaly (UTH).
