Bruno Le Maire is a French politician, writer, and former diplomat. He served as Minister of the Economy, Finance, Industrial and Digital Sovereignty from 2017 to 2024. A former member of The Republicans (LR), he joined La République En Marche!
(LREM) in 2017. Le Maire is also a noted author, with his book "Des hommes d'État" winning the 2008 Edgar Faure Prize.
