Biography

Brian S. Wesbury is an American economist specializing in macroeconomics and economic forecasting. He currently serves as the Chief Economist for First Trust, a position he has held since 2006. In addition to his role at First Trust, Wesbury is the economics editor and a monthly contributor for The American Spectator, and frequently appears on television stations such as CNBC, Fox Business, Fox News, and Bloomberg TV.

Wesbury began his career in 1982 at Harris Bank in Chicago.
