Brett Scott is a journalist, campaigner, economic anthropologist, and former financial broker. He focuses on the intersections between money systems, finance, and digital technology, exploring topics such as cashless society, fintech, cryptocurrency, monetary reform, economic activism, and the politics of technology.

Scott is the author of two books.
