Biography

Brent Orrell is a Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, where his research focuses on workforce development and criminal justice reform. He holds a particular interest in the impact of artificial intelligence on skills and job markets. Orrell co-directs the AEI-Urban Institute Commission on AI and the Future of the American Workforce.

Prior to his role at AEI, Orrell dedicated over 22 years to federal government service, working in both the Legislative and Executive Branches.
